Artificial intelligence is already part of corporate daily life: eight tools that are transforming work
A pattern is emerging among companies that are leading the way in their use of artificial intelligence. Many teams are already integrating AI capabilities into the programs they use to work. This change makes sense, because activities such as writing code, organizing projects, creating presentations, or analyzing customers are precisely where technology can reduce steps and speed up decisions.
Data from Okta shows the growth of AI tools integrated into traditional corporate platforms such as Microsoft 365, GitHub, Google Workspace, Figma, Slack, Adobe, and Notion. A survey by Zapier of 375 companies that are among the most advanced in adopting AI workflows reveals that these tools are often part of larger processes connected to other applications.
Below are eight illustrative examples.
1. Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft’s AI solution is integrated into applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. It can summarize meetings and emails, analyze information, create presentations, and work on existing documents. In July 2026, the company announced that Microsoft 365 Copilot had surpassed 30 million paid licenses.
2. GitHub Copilot
Designed for software development, GitHub Copilot suggests code, explains snippets, helps find errors, and can support more complex tasks within the programming environment. Okta identifies it as one of the first cases of large-scale enterprise adoption of generative AI since its launch in 2022.
3. Cursor
This code editor incorporates AI into the development process itself. In addition to suggesting lines, it can work with different files in a project, understand the code structure, and help execute tasks described in natural language. The tool is among the native AI companies that have most rapidly expanded their presence in the corporate environment.
4. Notion AI
AI is embedded in the space used for documents, projects, and internal knowledge. It can summarize pages, find information, reorganize text, and help transform scattered content into usable documents. Notion is one of the traditional platforms that have expanded their business presence by incorporating AI capabilities.
5. Canva
Canva’s AI brings content generation and editing into the visual creation process. Teams can generate elements, adapt text, resize materials, and create pieces based on instructions, thereby reducing some operational work. The platform is among the traditional tools that have gained space in the corporate environment as they have incorporated AI.
6. Grammarly
More than just correcting errors, Grammarly uses AI to review text, adjust tone, and suggest different ways to write a message. For teams that frequently produce emails, reports, or content, this reduces review steps. The tool is among the AI applications with a significant presence in companies, according to corporate adoption data from Netskope.
7. Zapier
The platform connects applications and enables the creation of automated workflows. With AI, it can interpret information, classify it, generate content, or decide where a task should go next before triggering another system. In Zapier’s analysis of 375 leading companies in adoption, 84% used AI to produce messages or documents, and 79% used it to extract information and update records.
8. Zoom AI Companion
The feature brings AI to meetings and communication, can summarize encounters, identify discussed points, and help transform conversations into information that is easier to consult later. The logic behind these tools is similar: put AI where the work happens. In the workflows analyzed by Zapier, only 18% of steps were executed by AI; the rest still relied on rules, connections between applications, and conventional automations.
These examples show how artificial intelligence is being incorporated into companies’ daily lives, accelerating processes and allowing employees to focus on tasks with higher added value.
