Anthropic Expands Startup Support with Free Claude Team Access and $1,000 Credits
Claude for Startups Program Adds New Perks for Qualifying Companies
During its SF Tech Week event on Tuesday, Anthropic unveiled an expanded version of its Claude for Startups initiative, granting qualifying startups a suite of resources designed to accelerate AI‑driven development.
The revamped program supplies a complimentary 12‑month subscription to Claude Team, the company’s premium group plan that includes up to five premium seats. In addition, participants receive $1,000 in API credits to build applications powered by Claude, access to the Claude Marketplace for creating plug‑ins, and the option to schedule virtual office hours with Anthropic’s Applied AI team.
“We created this program because we believe the benefits of AI will reach most people through the companies that build on top of models, rather than through the models alone,” Anthropic explained in its announcement. “That makes partnering closely with founders and developers central to our mission.”
Startups are eligible if they were founded within the past five years or have secured funding during the last two years. Interested companies can submit their applications through the dedicated Claude for Startups program page.
