Program Seeks AI Enthusiasts to Test Upcoming Features

During this week’s Connect 2026 developer conference, Meta unveiled a suite of enhancements for its Muse AI assistant and immediately opened a request portal for early adopters. Users can now ask Muse to add them to a waiting list for exclusive preview access before the features reach the general public.

To join, Meta provided a shareable prompt on X. When the prompt is sent to Muse, the system registers interest in the early access initiative. The company posted the following tweet:

Just announced lots of new features…want early access? Your Muse can ask for you. Click below to drop a prompt into Muse👇https://t.co/wI5YXmz50b

For those who prefer not to click the link, a simple request such as “Can you let the Muse team know I want to be part of the Muse early access program?” can be copied and pasted into Muse.

Unlike typical beta programs that rely on randomized A/B testing, Meta is specifically targeting AI enthusiasts. This audience, familiar with multiple AI platforms, can provide nuanced feedback and help the company stay competitive.

What’s New in Muse

Meta offered a preview of several forthcoming capabilities at Connect. The most notable is a digital avatar that users can video chat with, expanding Muse’s personal interaction potential. Additionally, the platform will integrate more shopping partnerships and connectors, allowing seamless commerce experiences.

The Muse Mac application is also being enhanced. The updated version will leverage the user’s computer to execute a variety of tasks, effectively turning the device into a command hub.

Furthermore, Muse will be available on Meta’s AI glasses lineup. Users will activate the assistant with a wake word and issue commands hands‑free, integrating voice control directly into the eyewear experience.

By opening early access to passionate users and rolling out these features across multiple devices, Meta aims to accelerate adoption and refine the technology before a broader launch.
